Fulfilling Social Responsibility, Sharing the Warmth of Intangible Heritage
At Himalayan Relics, our commitment to celebrating and safeguarding Regong Thangka art goes hand-in-hand with caring for the artisans, families, and mountain communities that keep this sacred heritage alive.
Grassroots Community Care & Poverty Relief
Over the years, while deeply committed to promoting Regong culture, our team has consistently engaged in public welfare endeavors, fulfilling our social responsibilities through practical, on-the-ground action.
On August 10, 2019, the Qinghai Shenyu Regong Painting Academy (an affiliated team of Himalayan Relics) organized a comprehensive poverty alleviation donation campaign in Cuoyu Village, Longwu Town, Tongren City. The team delivered essential daily necessities—including grain, flour, cooking oil, and direct financial subsidies—to 23 local impoverished households, offering immediate relief and long-term care.
Educational Support & Community Health
Children represent the future of Himalayan culture and sustainable rural growth. During the "Care Day" campaign on December 1, 2020, Mr. Luozang Qingzhou personally donated comprehensive educational supplies—including schoolbags, wooden pencils, and stationery sets—to the students of Jicang Primary School in Jiawu Township, Tongren City.
In November 2021, responding to health protection needs, Mr. Luozang Qingzhou further contributed 2,000 protective masks to the Tongren City Youth League Committee during the "Warm Campus" initiative, safeguarding students and teachers during critical school terms.
Our Ongoing Heritage Commitment
From supporting the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage to engaging in educational aid and grassroots community assistance, Himalayan Relics continues to uphold cultural stewardship and social responsibility hand in hand. As ambassadors of Regong Intangible Cultural Heritage Thangka art, we remain dedicated to deepening cultural appreciation, building meaningful bridges between master painters and collectors worldwide, and giving back to the communities that make this sacred art possible.
