Amitabha

Amitabha Buddha is the lord of the Western Pure Land and a major revered Buddha in Tibetan Buddhism. Also known as Buddha of Infinite Life and Buddha of Infinite Light, he has a red complexion with one face and two arms. He sits upon a lotus and moon disc, in the meditation mudra and holding a precious vase. He made forty-eight great vows to guide all beings to be reborn in the Western Pure Land. He is believed to lead devotees to the pure land, prolong lifespan and perfect blessings and wisdom, and is highly venerated in both Han and Tibetan Buddhism.
