Six-Syllable Mantra Mandala

This miniature thangka is hand-painted by Regong artists using the double-sided identical painting technique. It features the classic Mantra of Six Syllables Mandala and comes with an exquisitely crafted round gau box for portable wear, ideal for art appreciation, collection and styling decoration.
Created following traditional thangka painting techniques, the work adopts a deep black base layered with natural mineral pigments. At its centre lies a full-bodied eight-petaled lotus, with the Tibetan Six-Syllable Mantra inscribed on each petal. The calligraphic strokes are powerful and fluid, and the gold-and-white palette stands out strikingly against the black background. Radiant halo patterns in the outer perimeter are outlined layer upon layer with fine lines arranged in balanced density, extending outwards from the centre to create rich visual depth. The overall composition is symmetrical and orderly, integrating Tibetan calligraphic art with the aesthetic beauty of mandala patterns.
The entire piece is fully hand-painted with double-sided mirrored rendering. Slight variations in brushwork among individual works are normal characteristics of handcrafted artworks.
