Dragon King Bodhisattva Guangji

Popularly known as Fifth Dragon Lord, Bodhisattva Guangji the Dragon King, originally named Shengyan, is the fifth son of the East Sea Dragon King and the principal guardian deity and god of wealth of Mount Wutai. After converting to Buddhism under Manjushri Bodhisattva, he has guarded Mount Wutai ever since. He governs wind and rain and blesses people with peace. Tathagata also entrusted him with the wealth of the world. A widely revered divinity among the folk, he is believed to attract fortune and wealth, ward off calamities, and bless people with thriving careers and well-being for the whole family.
