Yamantaka

Yamantaka is a principal tutelary deity of the Gelug School of Tibetan Buddhism. His Sanskrit name means "Conqueror of Death". He once subdued Yama, the Lord of Death, and is the wrathful emanation embodying the wisdom and power of all Buddhas.
He is generally depicted with nine heads, thirty-four arms and sixteen legs, and has a dark cyan complexion. Holding various ritual implements and treading upon demon lords, he vanquishes evil forces, removes obstacles and upholds the true Dharma, capable of eliminating all karmic hindrances caused by evil deeds.
